Warning: volunteering can be incredibly rewarding! More involvement builds a stronger community and ultimately results in a more positive experience for our children.

We can find a job the fits in any schedule or skill set. Help with special events or social media presence, become a classroom parent, join a committee, and more.

Special Events
We are always in need of volunteers to help with special events. The Tropical Family Dance, the talent show and the skate day are some favorites. To help with an existing event or to propose one of your own, email us.
Join the Board
PTA Executive Board positions are up for election every two years. So, one Co-Secretary and one co-Vice President are elected each year with the President and Treasurer alternating election years. When the Nominating Committee is formed for the year, you may contact them to express your interest in running for the Board.
Behind the Scenes
Some of our events and projects require substantial planning. Our website and social media accounts need to be updated regularly to be of any use. Box Tops need to be counted, tallied, and mailed. Brown School Card contracts need to be renewed yearly. This type of work can often be fit in around work schedules or younger siblings' naps. If you can help, email us.

Class Parents
Class parents recruit helpers for classroom events and tasks, communicate with the class on behalf of the PTA, an organize class gifts. If you would like to be a class parent or to be the class parent coordinator, email us.
